The Marketers Bureau Accreditation Standards represent standards for agency accreditation by Marketers Bureau in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Our Code represents sound advertising, selling and customer service practices that enhance client trust and confidence in business. It is built on the Marketers Bureau Standards of Ethics, eight principles that summarize important elements of creating and maintaining trust in an agency.

To be accredited by the Marketers Bureau, an agency affirms that it meets and will abide by the standards set forth.

The Marketers Bureau Accreditation does not mean that the agency’s products or services have been evaluated or endorsed by Marketers Bureau, or that Marketers Bureau has made a determination as to the agency’s product quality or competency in performing services.

Agencies are under no obligation to seek Marketers Bureau Accreditation, and some agencies are not accredited because they have not sought Marketers Bureau Accreditation.

If an agency has been accredited by the Marketers Bureau, it means Marketers Bureau has determined that the agency meets accreditation standards, which includes a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints.
